Another day goes by with no resolution to the Carlos Correa saga.
Twice, he has signed deals with teams, with both of them hitting a snag due to concerns over his physical.
After the deal with the San Francisco Giants fell through, the New York Mets swooped in, but now are expressing the same concerns the Giants had.
And so, no deal is official yet.
But that doesn’t seem to be phasing the star shortstop.
On Twitter, an MLB insider posted a TikTok video from Correa’s wife, Daniella Rodriguez, which shows her and Correa spending some quality time with their new child, as the two-time All-Star attempted to make the baby laugh with his antics.
“What the heck is going on with Carlos Correa?!”

In all seriousness, this situation is probably quite frustrating for Correa, just as it has been for the Mets and the Giants.
Still, the 2017 World Series champion is finding ways to pass the time and is having some fun with his family.
When somebody becomes a parent, one thing they enjoy doing is trying to make their baby laugh.
So far, Correa seems to be doing a fairly good job of making his baby laugh as he basks in the glory of fatherhood.
A baby’s laughter is quite precious.
So while the ongoing situation is likely frustrating for Correa, he at least has his baby and his wife around to help take his mind off of things.
Making a baby laugh is one of the best things a new parent can do, and the star shortstop has proven capable of doing just that.
